Upper - noveske spr 18 inch barrel

So im planning on getting a big noveske 18 inch spr barrel, is there a specific upper that I need to purchase or will any upper do? Im planning on putting a 15 inch bcm kmr on it, not sure if that matters?

I was thinking of getting this DD upper from wolverine, not sure if it would work with that barrel.
Not too sure what a Big Hole upper is either.

That barrel, as with all AR15 barrels will fit on any AR15 upper receiver.

As to hole size, what lower receiver are you using? Hole size refers to the diameter of the holes for the takedown pins, the standard and most common is the small hole. Colt use to produce big hole lowers, which would require a big hole upper as well.

colt canada lower, so is that big hole or small hole?

your gona jizz ur pant with that barrel, dont cheap out on the upper, go big or go home. vltor mur upper in stock at armtac for $250 they also got your 18 novesque barrel for $640.

There are no substantiated claims that an upper receiver does anything other than be a case for the bolt group to ride in and out of the barrel extension.
Get a floating handguard and spend your cash on whatever tickles your fancy.

already have the bcm kmr 15
 
i will have to disagree, or else all the 3 gun nation guys would be running the cheapest uppers around, but they are not. Monolithic uppers and rails are very popular right now btw armtac doesnt have them instock but you might be able to find them somewhere else.

yah not quite they are out of stock on the barrel, really annoying ordering system, i didnt spot that detail.
So i paid for something out of stock, which i cant live with so ill have to contact them to modify my order because here in Canada out of stock can mean out of stock for 19 months.
 
I built a 16" noveske lightweight recon barrelled upper with a vltor mur, bcm bolt and Noveske nsr handguard a few years ago. Was a tack driver and very lightweight.
 
Nice choice. When I was building my spr. Noveske was 1 of my choice too, but the 600$ price tag scared me away. I settle with a wilson combat.
 
The place I pm'd you about the other day had all in stock including noveske marked MUR and N4 uppers, also had a nice selection of noveske barrels, so far I've built a diplomat, afghan, crusader and infidel from all parts in stock. Give them a call ask for Derek.
