Technically it’s not restricted, it’s just an upper. Attaching it to an AR15 receiver would make it restricted. It a very cool idea. Not much benefit, but cool nonetheless. My concern is that the AR15 was never designed to have twisting forces acting on the takedown pins. That could cause problems down the road.
