US Army Folding Cots, Inbound.

God damn those stupid end bars, whom ever designed them should be forced to put together 1000 cots as punishment lol

Lol very true. I wonder how the weight of the first one posted compares to the 2nd?

We will check once they arrive. The end pieces add considerable strength to the design. So much so that the Chinese cots you see everywhere decided to copy the military design. Both of these cots have US NSN numbers and are made in the USA.

Thank you, very curious as it looks a lot lighter. Would like to see how it collapses also. As stated, the second model has been around for years, in NATO. We have them in the CF and they’re tough but not light.

Super interested in these ....

Has anyone got any experience with either (or hopefully both) of these cots ?

Are they stable, hard wearing, etc. ?

Any more info on delivery times ?

The second more robust looking one is still used by the CAF, it honestly can take a solid beating, very durable, parts can be replaced too. It's not a ''light'' model, I wouldn't carry it around, but in the back of a truck or in a camp it's IMO a great cot .

Like said, the end bars can be a pain in the ass to put on, but guys sometime would sleep on cots without the end bars when it was too tight and it was still alright.

This is my go to cot.
