NOThey are a prohibited item. If you declared them the worst that would happen is that you would lose them though technically as soon as you cross the border with a prohibited item you have commited an offence. If not declared they would be seized along with your vehicle and you would have to pay for the release of your vehicle but you would never get the mag's back. You would also have a "record" with Customs If you had a significant number you would probably be arrested. You could then have a Customs and Criminal record.
Yeah, somebody better tell every gunshop in Canada that they're suddenly prohibited. The internet just said so.
I was at the local gun shop last week and the dealer said he got a letter from the CFC saying no more would be allowed to be imported... what is on the shelves is all there would be. He has a reputation as a huge BS er but I got a couple steel lips because I was meaning to anyway. Anyone else heard of this?
