What kind of liability insurance do you carry when you are packing down south? You know that both the defending and prosecuting lawyers will try to squeeze every cent out of you, should you have to use your gun.

My follow up question is what your outcome would be if you required a gun and did not have one even if you did not have insurance?

As a non US resident you can get a New Hampshire permit with your RPAL. You can get a FL CCW if you have a house or condo there where there are utility bills in your name. My FL permit just expired. No having a NH non resident license will not help anything in FL. With a non resident license you can't carry in FL either.

To guarantee conformance it would be prudent to enter a sheriffs office and get clarification on the area you are visiting. Before I have traveled with my pistol I walked into the North Carolina detachment/office in Emerald Isle with my non-resident permit/RPAL and my accepted ATF 6NIA form for verification. I placed a note with my associated paperwork that had the sheriffs name and verbiage noting the response. Not sure if it's required, but it's something else to forward to a LEO if I am ever stopped.

Applied a few months back and received mine in less than a month.

Make sure you write the correct answer in the box that asks why you need a ccw. Personal défense is not accepted by itself. My buddy wrote that and they sent him the form back.

I wrote “hunting, target shooting all all other intended Purposes, including protection of life” and I received my card without any hiccups.

Now if only my own country believed in me like the USofA does and allowed me to carry

Hello! I have my NH CCW, easy process... Are there any other states one can apply for a CCW permit as a nonresident alien? I emailed Virginia and you need to be a permanent resident or US citizen (this may have been common knowledge but was not to me). I would like to apply for all the permits possible assuming there is more than just the great free state of NH (live free or die!)
