US M14 Parts Kits

Oh Im in on this like a fat kid on a smartie ! Will you announce the arrival on here or just the web site ?

It is easier to announce their arrival and post photos here first, then we have to decide if we are going to sort and grade them. In my experience surplus M14 rifles have rarely had all matching manufactured parts. It will take at least a week after their arrival before we will be able to take orders as we can not take orders until the item description, price and skew # have been entered into our system. We are talking of several hundred not a few dozen, so nobody need worry that we will be sold out before they can place an order. My goal is to be able to ship early Dec but it may not be until the New Year.

please lock this thread until then. i cant take checking this thread every day hoping, and then getting crushed they arent here. dont know if i'll make it four or five months

what we coul;d really use is an group buy on lrb or smith receivers, mate those to these kits- well u can see where this is going

John, without reading through the whole thread, has anybody suggested that you could make a whole lot more money on these if you sent them to this German gunsmith and had them made up into a........

if u have to mention expense when you're buying a lrb or smith receiver, you CAN'T AFFORD it already- we're talking 12/1500 the last time I looked for the receiver alone- add in another grand for one of johns kits and I don't know how much to put it together- ONLY THE SERIOUS NEED APPLY- now if you happen to be friends with tactical teacher and can put together a weekend school( i'd mention Thomas as well, but he won't want anything to do with the project), it would be well worth the time and effort
us grizzled old farts are good for something

yea, but by the time all is said and done with the new receiver you're around the price of a new Springfield m1a- granted, you have MUCH better gun, but nonetheless

This is all very interesting and I've been doing a bit of research lately on the platform for myself; not really sure of the history of why we cant own an older m14. I kind of understand what this deal all means for us, but can someone explain in laymans terms? Is it basically the old rifle, restocked and the receiver cut in two, allowing buyers to remove the cut receiver and add all of the remaining original parts to an m305 receiver or one purchased from another company in the states?
