You guessed correct, they are ex-snipers, not "squad automatics" so hopefully barrels will be very good as their rd count will be lower. Some had kills recorded but those marks may be on the part that was removed, time will tell. Hopefully they have been shipped but no word yet.

I am so excited for this. Even if it takes months for me to source a decent priced receiver, I'll be happy to drool over these parts. I've wanted for years a legit m14 and knowing this is as close as I can get just gets me giddy. It was the Delta M14 in black hawk down that had me hooked on the hard hitting, close encounter look and set-up. I just replaced my Aimpoint PRO on my IUR for an Elcan OS 3.0x so it looks like I'll be figuring out a way to mount the PRO onto this M14!
