US Optics vs. S&B?

I've talked to John Jr. on the phone and exchanged emails a few times and he was very pleasant and helpful. I ordered an SN3 with lots of bells and whistles. When my custom rifle is delivered I'll know for sure about the quality. For now I'd say that the customer service was great and even though I customized the scope quite a bit the wait was only a few weeks.

The CF and USMC have switched from US Optics to S&B.
USMC switched to S&B because Leupold lost the rights to use the GenII mil reticle [patented to Premier]when Leupold came out with there TMR reticle ,Premier and Leupold split now S&B is using the Gen II reticle

OOOOOOHHHHH YEEEAAAHHH ! Nothing beats high end optics. S&B or US Optics in first focal plain

I have both and would say that S&B have a slidely EDge on the US option, that a very nice P4 reticles, I would love to have that...

Hot damn I like that S&B! Especially the reticle. I'm not entirely sure about USO's huge range of magnification in their scopes though; I read in an article on Snipersparadise (or Snipercountry...or The Ultimate Sniper...honestly can't remember where) that a scope's maximum magnification shouldn't be more than 4x the minimum. Is this true at all?
My Mk4 serves me very well though. Don't mean to hijack or anything, but if you had to make a "Food Chain" of scopes, what would it look like? I'd guess S&B would be on top.

S&B vs USO? USO gets my vote!

For those of you that have not seen the 34mm Tube "Canadian", here is mine, a SN-3 T-Pal 3.2-17x44 Metric EREK. This one has a Lit Horus H-25 in it. They call this the Canadian, because it is the scope proposed initially to HMCF by PGW. I specified it with the H-25. It is set up for 9 mils per knob rotation as you can plainly see. It is interesting how many people make judgements about optics without ever having seen a particular scope. Me? I would want to look at something before dismissing it.

This rifle originally had a MST-100 on it with a 20 degree clip slotted base per the original M40A3 specification. This rifle is a .308 with a 3 groove LILJA stainless barrel and a single stage JEWEL trigger.

S&B all the way USO has too many quality control problems or did perhaps this has been ectified but folks have a long memory on stuff like this. It's for no small reason the USO were rejected for the MRWS in the CF.
