US Optics

Well the Canadian Army uses them on their Timberwolves. I don't have any personal experience with them but I've heard nothing but good reviews about them (for the price they dang well should be good).

The biggest advantage of USO, is that your talking about a custom made scope with the specific caracteristic you desire.

They are first class scope in every aspect, my problem with them is that I dont want to use anything else$$$$.

Also the ability to upgrade if a change of application or new design/reticle arise.

One word about customer service....
AMAZING!

Well, I am interested in what stock is on this rifle?

Thanks,

I have 3 US Optics SN 6 fixed power 10's..Love em..wouldnt trade them for anything else. I won the 97 Nationals in Ottawa, and have won several Top Provincial awards using a McMillan M-86 and a USO SN-6(same as used to be issued to the SEAL Teams)
The clarity is second to none...easy to use reticle(range finder), and they are built like a tank. At the shot show, the USO rep pounds nails into a 2x4 with one, then asks if anyone would trust their scope to do the same. Now, I admit, it makes an expensive hammer,,,but it shows what they will take. And, to-days customer service is also second to none..they will help you with anything....and thats really worth something:)

THe Canadian army was using the USO optic until recently they have now contracted to use S&B PMII scope the same one that the US marines have choosen.

Are you kidding me?

This is what I call the Canadian Horus:

Take the US Optics SN-3 Metric SN-3 TPal offered to Canadian Forces and have a Lit Horus H-25 installed and put it on a highly customized M40A3 Clone and this is the result!

I am here to tell you (Perhaps a little tongue in cheek) the Schmidt und Bender must be one heck of a fine optic if they turned this device down!;)

PS: My first post, happy to be here. Thanks. Dave

No just Stupid I heard that the CF is now considering doing a competition for optics on all there sniper rifles due to the variety of scopes being used now this makes sense finally. A Canadian Company that manufactures Stainless Steel Picatinny scope bases is supplying Bases to the new USMC M40 sniper rifle

I shot mine this week at 325 yards with hand loaded M118LR equivelant (175 SMK at 2615 fps).

Horus Palm software recommended come up of 1.5 mils. I dialed that value in on the EREK and hit dead center on first shot.

You have the same EREK dial with the MILDOT reticle.

Congratulations.
