US Regional Long Range Match - CyaN1de holding his own!

You should have heard the FTR shooters yesterday. Richard sounds pretty calm compared to them. Yesterday my shooting partner missed a wind change, and proceeded to miss the target also. BTW, wind changes could happen 3 to 5 seconds. It was very nasty for a 308win competitor. As usual, it was a lot of fun.

I am not trying to add salt to a wound but a shooter drifting 20 to 30% less has a huge advantage in that gale. Your far side 8 would be an inside 9 or 10.

Your wind reading skills ARE GOOD but a gale leaves zip margin for error. I bet the F TR shooters are having a really tough time too.

Have fun...

Jerry

If you know how to figure out where you are to begin with... 30% of a 6' frame is still only 20" and that is still a huge hold-off!

Part of our challenge here in Canada, and BC in particular, is finding a 1000 yard fullbore range on which to gain practice.

When changes are so severe they blow you off the paper and you can't find your way back... THAT's bad.

I saw some results on-line and our own "inspector" (Glen Taylor) did well, Top Expert class and Canadian Darcy Spenst placed in the FTR greeshot class.

Well done!!

Way to go Richard...congrats..diden't know you got married.

My first F-class shoot was with Richard by my side, It will be forever in my memory.

Give them hell.

Cheers

Bucky

A bad day of shooting is still better than a good day of working. And you didn't do badly. Keep up the good work.
