A Canadian made forged receiver as you describe would run big $, and require many sales.
Nothing really that wrong with the Norc recievers, made in Canada bolts and such are the logical first step.

That is true - we would be looking at Springfield type prices on any M14 components or complete rifles - that is just a fact of manufacturing in North America compared to cheap materials and labour that the Chinese have access to.

As for the M14 forge receiver, yes I would pay $1200 for Canadian made one! I am sure it would be the best in the world - that is just how us Canadian's do things!!
