USA vs Austrian made glock

Yes, I too think a Glock with USA roll marks is pathetic and would never buy or own one, ever. Whom ever gave the green light to have USA stamped on a Glock slide should have their teeth kicked in.

Gaston Glock put Austria on the map....for me, the only "real" Glock...is a 3rd Gen Glock marked AUSTRIA ;)

even 4th Gen are POS and RTF or what ever the heck also pure SH!t ....always have to try to ruin a good thing....like a Beretta 90-Two Lmfao....gez. ....or a slanted dust cover on the Beretta frame...I've seen Italian Berettas with slanted duct covers too....WTF?

Just my 2cents ;)

I have two of each and they're all the same functionally, I don't care about finish. A lot of people on here are trying to tie the tenifer process to the exterior finish and that's not correct.

Here's an example of the different finishes.

2nd to the right is indeed the best finish that was ever made, this was when they were still using Tenifer too. You cant even make a mark on it if you run a key through it, buy try this on a later USA made one. Scratches right through.

Anyone know if all new Glocks in the stores are stamped with the USA roll marks on the slide now?

For about a year now, all standard supplied pistols from Glock to North America have 'USA' stamped on the slide.

That being said, I've seen the odd special order imports that carry the 'Austria' stamp.
