IMO that stock and VG look very odd. Plus the first order of buisness should be to chop the bbl. That is all I have done to mine so far and it already looks 100% better.

It's been done in the past, but I haven't seen one posted lately. I think SMGs kind of faded from pop gun culture for a while while.

I would love to get a UMp clone. But the fact that it's limited to 5 rounds is a real bummer for me. I'd rather spend the $$$ on something that runs on pistol mags.

Actually, a fellow shooter here in town has a very nicely done UMP clone. Hard to tell the difference from my UMP .45. Biggest variances:

• Reciever is devoid of folding stock catch as shown on mine below
• left hand side receiver lacks molded sling loop

Other than that, it is an extremely close match.

RE mags: It actually uses full sized (but gimped to the legal 5 rnd limit) UMP mags because he replaced the USC lower with a UMP lower and a conversion block.

USC's rock! It will look allot better when it's dyed black but the shorter bbl is a big improvement for sure!

From what I hear on HK Pro, HERA is making this conversion for the USC.

It’s finally here….. The HERA-ARMS conversion kit for the H&K SL-8. We have been waiting anxiously to finally be able to release our product to the US public. We have taken off like a rocket ship over here in Germany and the rest of the EU. Our name is growing fast and we will be coming out with a few more products in the next few weeks. Who would like to see a USC with a collapsible stock? Guess what? It is done and will be available in a few weeks as well or how about a 20rd USC mag, well it will be ready later this month. Hope everyone stays tuned for the next HERA-ARMS product to hit the market. I know we are waiting!!!!!!
