usc/ump conversions

I have done a welfare version:

Well Gentleman, I made the stock myself by altering the factory thumbhole stock by cutting the butt off at the rear of the pistol grip using a mitre saw. That is where the welfare comment came from as opposed to the Tactical Excellence conversion which uses a genuine UMP lower receiver.

I then purchased a B&T (swiss built) MP5 stock, which uses a UMP profile stock. I then cut off the piece which fits onto the rear of the MP5 receiver, and grafted the two together. I used the RIT fabric dye method to colour the plastic.

The barrel is an import from the US. I purchased the Flash hider from the US as well.

Hi

Has anyone done one of these usc to ump conversions , howd it work out & where did you buy parts to do the conversion

Thanks
Why do the conversion? If you want a ump just buy one they are only restricted.

Hey smgcon, those Sigs look a little out of place next to the H&K. You should consider purchasing a Swiss Arms rifle or two for display purposes.;)

LOL, good luck finding one. Last I heard there were about 10 in Canada. IIRC HK decided that they shouldn't have been sold to civilians, and halted sales.
They come up for sale every once in a while, HK didn't decide to stop selling it, they never allowed the sale to civilians. It is quite easy to get one if you look around and not for the insane price that people ask either.

Okay so let us know

When one of the 9 comes up for sale in the EE

Smgcon by no means does that look like a "welfare convert". I think that gun looks gorgeous!

Makes me think about actually buying a usc if one could make is look that good.
