Used axis. 1 or 2?

Hey guys I bought a used savage axis from reliable a few months ago it has a timney trigger on it so I can’t tell that way. Just wondering does the axis 2 have axis ii on the barrel? Trying to find out if this is a 1 or 2.

The trigger is the difference. It's an Axis with a Timney Trigger on it. Or maybe call the manufacturer. They might know something.

The only difference between the Axis and the Axis II, is the Accutrigger on the latter. Other than that, same rifle really. Some people do change out the Accutrigger for Timney or other brands of aftermarket triggers on the Axis II models and replace the crappy triggers on the standard Axis as well. I haven't seen any different markings on the barrels but I could be wrong. I don't think you need to be concerned.
