I may be trading a 1911 for my friends 1st Gen Glock 17. I know the gun has seen a lot of rounds, as it was used in competition before he got it. He heard the barrel may have even been replaced before he got it, but he's not sure. That said I've seen him shoot the gun and it works great. It has never had any issues that weren't related to poor reloads.
The gun has aftermarket sites that glow, a mag well, a 3.5lb connector and the mag release was replaced recently as the old one was worn.
Aside from making sure the rifling is strong, what should I look for when evaluating this high millage gun? Thanks
