So driving to pick the ol lady up from work I spotted a poster in a window. Not really looking for another hand gun but how can I say no to a sale :p. Anyways.. Dealer poster said " used Glock 22's in 40 S&W $495" Is that enough reason to own my first glock or should I keep driving?

That's a smokin' deal. It's worth a lot more than that any day of the week.

Wish I'd known about it a couple of weeks ago - I just paid $740 for one (under the police-only deal from POI).

there should really be on option to vote for thumbs up or down on an add for the EE. I know a buddy of mine has one up, he knows he is asking too much, but he is waiting for some dummy to come buy it. Its wrong, if there was an option, where at the top of the add users could click thumps up or down it would help.

If it's been BTT more then 3 times, most likely poeple have voted thumbs down.lol

its its a first gen 40 aka glock gen 2 it will more then likley be a police trade in, not worth it unless its had the police or factory rebuild.

Might be a GenII exPoPo (my personal favourites) with iffy tritium for that price.

I wouldn't pay more than $450 all in, if they are.

You sir know your Glocks. First look I find no markings and notice the night sights. Asked a little further to find out they are EX Conservation Officer guns... needless to say I dont need a Glock that bad. I didnt even bother with a picture.

My first Glock was a gen2 that I got for $450 it came with some goodies that I sold for $125 :D so I basically paid $275!!!! I disliked Glocks back than but after shooting it I started to grow on me. I personally like gen2's better than gen3 in term of feel. Gen3 texture and finger groves just don't mix well with my hands. After gen4 came out I sold the gen2 and haven't looked back on gen3's...

Its a pretty safe bet its an LE trade in. The Glock 22 is by far the most popular LE pistol on the market. Anything used sold through a dealer/retailer is likely a trade in.
