used hornady LNL AP ???'s

been looking to upgrade to a progressive press for a while but haven't been able to afford it. I got a line on someone selling used LNL AP press w/ case feeder and feed plate for $675ish bucks. Looking to my fellow nutz for some advice on this...

the press is supposed to be a few years old.

Is there anything i should be watching for/staying away from regarding wear and tear?

Any improvements/changes done to the newer production models that could help me determine actual age?

most importantly, do you think its a fair price?

Ask if it has the 'EZ-ject' loaded round ejection system installed. If it doesn't, the upgrade is around $50-$60 after the tax, shipping, duty charges have settled.
Shell plates go for $40-$50 (ish) - so any that are included with a used press add value. ( new presses do not come with a shell plate).

Do check for the ez eject system to see if it is added. New style shell plates are made for the ez eject system. Not 100% sure if the old style shell plates are compatible with the ez eject system.

Otherwise a great press.

Henry can also bring in the case feeder, have to factor in your time too. Either way, the OP looks like he can buy one new (with bullet promo) for a better deal than used.

I was in Cabelas in Grand Forks yesterday and they have just the LNL AP in stock and on sale for 369.00. Not sure what the case feeder is worth though?
