Got a chance to buy a used LRF 800 rangefinder. Guy wants me to make a offer on it, what would be a fair price? Also you like to hear from any one who has one. Likes-- dislikes--problems. I'm only ranging coyotes out to 600 yards.

There was a Leica LRF 1200 posted on here not long ago.
$450 price on it.
Dang it went fast................. all the way to me.
Fast, easy and no nonsense.
Point and push and it comes back real quick.
Hold the button down and move the lense.
It spits out distances quick for tracking.
I have lasered just over 800 yards..........clay bank.
Only one thing describes this to me.............SWEET. :D w:h:

I have the LRF 900 Scan and I paid $399.99 plus taxes about four years ago. Very solid and accurate unit. My only complaint is the ranging button is a bit stiff to press which makes it hard to range at longer distances.

The LRF800 is the first unit made by Leica I believe, not that there's anything wrong with that. I've had one since they came out and it still works great. I find it easier to range with than the newer more compact units.
I think original price was $500 or $600. $250-$300 would be a fair price to offer if it's in good shape.

Nah - 225 is not a good deal. You should pass.

Oh - can you forward me his info? I'd like to give him a piece of my mind... ;)

SNAG IT!!! That's an awesome deal.
