Used Mossburg 500 Value?

Hi. I am looking at buying a used Mossburg 500, 12 guage with an adjustable choke. Wood and metal finish are ok but showing signs of use...was regularily used. Mechanically it is good. I have looked up in the gun values books what it's worth and I am seeing $140 and up for good to very good condition. Would you classify this as good and would $140 be fair or lower? The seller hasn't stated a price so I want to offer something fair but not extreme. All help is appreciated.

There was one on the EE for $200.
Not sure if there were screw in chokes for it or not.

140$ wouldn't be out of the ball park from the description you describe I'd be prepared to go up slightly depending on the exact condition its in.

If it is the Mossberg C Lect choke ( like a poly choke) with walnut wood it is one of the very best Mossberg 500's and worth at least 150.00 It will shoot steel but leave that C Lect choke on an open setting.
