Used O/U for hunting

I’m looking to buy a nice used O/U for hunting. My budget is $2000. I’ve been really looking at a Beretta 686 and I really like the look and feel of them just can’t seem to find a used one. My question is what would be some other options in that price range? Thanks Matt

Another option is a used but not abused Ithaca SKB.
If you are only shooting lead shot and occasional tungsten or nice shot, the earlier fixed choke variants are lighter.

A used Browning, if you don’t need interchangeable chokes and don’t mind fixed F/M there are plenty out there under 2K. In the end get the one that fits you best.

^^^ that's a pretty darn nice field gun!

If you have patience you will find one under $2000 pretty easily. There is also a nice looking Beretta BL 4 on the EE for $850. It is fixed full/full though.

Beretta and Browning are both great options, if one fits you, the other likely won't.

Keep an eye on the EE, also keep an eye on #######. Your shotgun will pop up eventually.

You should have grabbed the 686 I sold last week. It sold quickly but you were the first contact and I gave you ample opportunity to respond. If you see what you like, you have to be prepared to pull the trigger.

I actually prefer the Instinct L to the LX, the steel receiver puts a bit more heft between your hands. The model I handled had nice wood and great case-hardened coloration. Also, they are new <$1,800 and have 7 year warranty so pretty much good to go.

Also agree on the used and consignment sections, if you buy through a good retailer like PR you can have them go over it with you virtually if there's anything you want more pictures of.
