Used Remington bdl varmint ca223 value?

A guy is selling a Remington Bdl varmint special cal 223 with a Bushnell 3x9 scope.He is asking $895.00.The rifle seems in good shape and he says the ammo count is low.Is the price is too high for such rifle?What could be a fair price for it?Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Priced too high for me, for $900 there are better rifles.
I wouldn't consider for over $725, but I am not a Rem fan.

I think 900 is way to high...the rifle is worth 550-650 and the scope isn't worth much.

I think $600 is being charitable. The Bushnell scope doesn't really add any value to the rifle, and certainly isn't an appropriate choice for a varmint rifle; I'm assuming that the scope mounts are as good as the scope.

Yup, $550 +/- is my vote. Useless scope.
