Thats a pretty tough to beat price. In light of this new info I would say $780 for a used Gen 2, $700 for a used Gen 1 FTU, and $350-430 for a Gen 1 carry handle.

Even at $430 for the Gen 1 carry handle it would still be more expensive than the Gen 2 by the time you paid for and had a FTU shipped to put on, and honestly the Gen 2's FTU is better than the t97.ca one, so your still paying more and getting a lesser product.

I've had several over the years they all went bang everytime,, sometimes with the ever so fun slam-fire, then picked up my first gen 2 and the trigger side by side was so much better and once I dropped on the T97.CA lower it's awesome now this one is in my safe to stay,

Sold my gen 2 with 4 mags for $800, sold pretty quick. They are a good gun for the money.

Wow sorry to see some of you have had bad experiences. I have a T97 with the FTA and LHG from T97.ca worth the price for the upgrade. I have only had the problem with it being finicky with mags and every so often I get the jammed round with the bullet pushed into the case. I figured out that the mag was just sitting to high so when I change mags I just give a tug down after seating the mag and it both ensures a good lock and that the mag is in the right position. No issues with P-Mags, my T97 loves them. Never had a slam fire or anything close to that. It is a pretty nice gun and I like it, if you have had a #### experience that is unfortunate. Back on topic my rifle I got with the mods already done and it was a very good job. I paid $1100 and with the price similar ones are going for that was very fair, in my opinion. I may want to get a bone stock one so that I can have an original and a modified one.

I see that some of the used ones on the EE are more money than new ones. The Price seems to have really come down a fair bit on the new ones, but I dont think alot of sellers know this "YET". I didnt untill I started checking around. I think the prices on the EE will adjust over time.

I can remember a few years ago they were $1000 & that was the going price.

I have one of these rifles and while it's a good rifle with some quirks it is quite un-ergonomic. I'm currently looking for something else but these are a good mobile truck gun with the short action.
