I am thinking of getting a strikefire off the EE ,and I was wondering is it still covered by the warranty even if I am not the original buyer?

Looks like they have a few different Warranties......red dot's don't seem to get the VIP treatment.

I was curious and emailed Vortex yesterday here's the response on the "limited" lifetime warranty for the red dot's. It seems unlike the VIP they won't replace for any reason regardless of the cause.
