USGI Bolts?

If the thing flew apart and you could not find the extractor, it is likely that you could not find the springs either. Hungry offered to assist - take his advice as he taught me the in's and out's of the rifle. Curiosity got the best of me and I disassembled my bolt (I don't like having simple mechanical devices around without understanding them - so I took it apart - several times now). The extractor and ejector springs, in addition to the extractor and ejector itself, can be purchased at Brownells too.

Testing the bolts is the right thing to do. I have an early all military parts springfield armory m1a that had a TRW bolt in it. I shot the gun with military ammo and the bolt split at the extractor and when I hit the op rod with a hammer to open it, the bolt can out in two pieces. springfield tested the gun and replaced the bolt with another TRW bolt! Gun still works, but I always wonder!

I actually did find the springs. Just by sheer luck they didn't go too far.
Canam is replacing the whole rifle for me, shipping both ways at their expense. Needless to say, I'm impressed with the fact they are standing behind these M305's and they will be getting more of my business in the future.

The OEM bolts are not what we expected in term of the quality, it will likely create more problem for us, therefore, we are likely not to carry them at all.

In term of bolts, we will start carring the fulton armory bolts, we have good user feedbacks on them and As per my understanding Ron Smith worked with Fulton Armory to produce their Gen 2 bolt.

We have a bunch of them coming likely before new yr.

Any chance you need to "dispose" of the sample bolts, on a All sales final as-is, where is no warranty basis?

I've bought a "pig in a poke" before. Sometimes the gamble pays off, and sometimes I lose; but it's usually interesting.
