What's this old thing worth?

* front seam, fixed bales
* finish as in pics, appears original but pot has a couple small dents in it at back
* liner as in pics but is missing it's leather chin straps
* exterior of liner was painted black with a red star on the back
* original pot chin straps have been replaced with modern ones with button snap

Considering there were probably millions manufactured.
$20.

I had one... Threw it away.

I have a fixed bail with Mitchel cover and 60's liner, inside the pot was a WW2 Canadian service number painted in white paint (west coast). Paid $150. Considered it a fair purchase.

Tagged for Interest. I sold one similar 20 years ago for $75 on ebay. Today I'd ask 250, but IDK much about M1's, but I'd like to know more.

I sold that front seam fixed bail years ago, but I still have a bunch of rear-seam swivel bail M1's with liners (liners may be WW2?) in great shape and would like to better know the values too. Not to hijack the OP, but can anyone suggest any good reference materials that may help with detailed descriptions and current values?

You can ask 100-150. There "were" millions made and Thousands n the surplus Bins. But its not 1996 anymore.
With a nice woodland cover and hat band w cat eyes 150.
Naked 125.
Mitch leaf pattern cover, VN era Bug Juice and a Soft Pack of Marlboro smokes start the bidding at 200 :)

That’s what I paid in 1974, $20USD, for a WW2 US Paratrooper Helmet from Unique Imports
in Alexandria, Virginia. Postage was very reasonable. Still have it. But I ain’t selling it for $20 Bucks! Lol

Three refurbs that I collected over the past couple of years to pay homage to my three favorite movies/mini-series. Movie posters in the second pic give you an idea of which movies/mini-series I'm referring to if you have a hard time guessing.

The M2 Paratrooper was a refurb from 'At the Front' and the Captain Miller and US Marine M1's are from 'Top Pots' which relocated from the US to Australia. The Top Pots ones are really nice but during covid they suddenly went radio silent and screwed people on orders. Website is still up but they do not respond to emails or phone calls.

.........and these were a bit more than $20 bucks.
