USGI stocks?

Hi all,
Where can I get a USGI fiberglass stock? I tried Numrich, but they won't sell any M14/M1A1 components outside of the US, because they are considered an "assault weapon". I noticed a lot of CGN members have installed them on their Norincos, where did you guys pick them up?

While not a USGI 'glass stock I just picked up a Boyds unfinished walnut stock, factory second with very nice grain for only $37 USD, with taxes and shipping $62 USD delivered to my door.

I'd heard that someone up there was getting a batch from Israel. I used to have the occasional but the supply dried up. The Israeli ones should be cheaper if they ever materialize. Can't remember the guy's screen name but maybe he'll see this and respond.

"...because they are..." It's because they are 'restricted for export' parts. Gunparts doesn't want to spend the time and money getting the export permit for a one time $62.65US part.

Have you check with Fabsports, that where I got mine, usualy in stock....

FabSports doesn't even have it on their page anymore.
I couldn't even find stocks on Boyd's site...I'd love a pepper laminate.

Boyds no longer makes a paper laminate M14 stock, so forget it.

They DO make small runs of walnut stocks still. None are presently on their site apart from factory seconds.

If you have patience, Marstar recently bought most of the stocks left at Fred's M14 Stocks and at SOME point we should see them in Canada - It's been months though and John hasn't been saying anything, which is unfortunate. I'd love one of Freds' excellent condition walnut GI stocks.
