Does anyone make a conversion pin allowing the use of a "normal" small pin hammer in a big pin lower ??

just curious, buddy broke his 9mm hammer in his 6450 and now is fubar till he can find something to replace it.

anyone have a spare hammer to help a brother out ? or know where to get a conversion pin so he can use my RRA 9mm hammer ?
 
who do you recommend to phone ??

remember that this is for a 9mm so need a specific 9mm hammer which is .170 or an m16 hammer of the same size if they where ever made.

Wes, I understand that the Geissele triggers work as is in the 9mm Colts. We have large pins Geissele triggers on order, should have them about Jul11-13 if your friend is still looking, and after I confirm they work on my Colt 9mm upper.
 
Wes, off the top of my head - I'd call James at TSE, Then Walt @ Arms East. Questar and Wolverine would also be on my list.

I know some people have drilled out M16 Hammers to .170 -- how it works -- no idea...
 
The 9mm hammer is just a trimmed down 5.56mm hammer. I just cut the tail off to reduce the weight/size and it worked fine. You need to find a hammer without the big notch in the face though.
