Using 9mm Lee dies in a Dillon 550B

Have a Lee 3 die set in 9mm. Dies seem a bit short when installed in my Dillon 550B and does not fully cycle the powder measure(dillon). What is the trick here as that I really do not want to purchase another set of dies unless I really have too. I have the Dillon conversion kit with the powder drop tube.

Put the lock ring under the press instead of on top. Or use the spare dillon ring on top. They are a bit thinner. I use the Lee powder disk measure on the Lee powder die. As long as you don't flare the case mouth too much.
