Using a Mantis X to dryfire holster train with a Mag Floor Plate Rail Adapter

Hi everyone,

Does anyone use a Mantis X system to holster train (dryfire) using a Mag Floor Plate Adapter? Thoughts?

I'm thinking of getting one because I like training with the system but can't dryfire practice with my holster.

I am shooting a CZ 75 SP-01.

I have that setup - I shoot a SP-01 Shadow and uses a Mantis X10 for training. My pistol came with the Mec-Gar magazines so I bought CZ one with the tall plastic basepad and use the rail adapter below. I just dedicate this mag for dry firing and it works fine.

Judging by some of the stories I've heard from some old timers, not very well lol.

They shot well, and won lots of matches, plain old dry fire drills, training, and a good mindset, no gizmos, and yes I tryied a mantis x, but I rather do it the old school way, sometimes high tech takes the fun out of it, my two cents, but what ever floats your boat

Yeah that's the people who actually practiced. The ones that don't, sketchy AF lol
