it's my all around favorite for those pemby mountain blacktails
In fact I picked up a sportered Lithgow with really nice headspace and shinyish bore for a winter project.
when I'm done it will look like this one here in the pic..... which I sold to a fellow cgn'er…. silly me. If that guy is reading this I might offer to buy that rifle back LOL

Could be. And it never loses zero in spite of what you read about this inherent flaw of the No5. I've had a 23/4x Redfield Widefield scope on it for the last 40 year and it works very well.
