Hi All

I ran out of small pistol primers and so did the my usual place for buying reloading supplies. The guy behind the counter suggested Magnum Small Pistol Primers. Since I was in a rush I said sure, grabbed a few boxes and headed off to the next todo on my list. Anyone have experiences or suggestions for using with 9mm? Anything I should know?

they're more expensive and NOT necessary- they're meant to properly ignite 357 loads with slow powders and heavy bullets- to the 9mm , it makes no diff, as it would the 38 spcl , or anything else of standard character- as far as reloading goes, there is no appreciable diff - mof winchester primers arelisted as both magnum and standard on the pkg-in other words, suitable for either- NEVER TRUST COUNTER MONKEYS
