Using Small Car For Hunting

TheTooner; I am fullly confident that a quartered/deboned moose would have fit inside my geo minus the antlers if sizeable, along with my gear. Whole definitely not but there would be no option to drag a full sized moose into a geo by myself anyway, or anywhere really...

Now, I think if a persons requirements were that they wanted to carry out a whole moose in a car for some reason along with an entire hunting camp while having the wind blow through their hair through their sunroof then I think the Volvo XC70 or the like would be a great option. AWD, seats 7, sunroof, roof racks, good power and long lasting reliability.

How about this ? :)

Grizz

Love those sissy bars. That guy is awesome!

A buddy of mine road one out of the bush on a three wheeler by tying the frount legs to the frount forks and the back legs to the rear rack ,he said it wasn't easy or fun but it got it out . Had blood stains on the yellow plastic and the seat smelled pretty rank for a long time

I never owned a small car
but I did own a full sized 1981 bronco
I put a big bull moose in it and a big 5x5 bull elk in it along with the antlers strapped to the top
and enough gear for two people for 10 days and my friend , he shot the moose I shot the Elk

When I first moved to Alberta in 2011 I was driving a 4 door Dodge Cirrus.....21st century K-car lol.
Shot my first elk that fall,a 5x5 bull....quartered him up and stuffed 3 quarters and boned out meat in trunk and 1 quarter, head&antlers in back seat......and for the remainder of its days until I bought a truck that winter it was known as the Elkmobile, lol :D

Another lifetime ago in NB,my crazy good buddy whacked a 12pt bull moose in deer season. We boned it all out into black garbage bags....wasn’t enough left of it to make a stew, and managed to stuff the entire haul of boneless meat behind the seat of a regular cab Dodge pickup.
