I'm wondering if anyone has used the Tavor Bi-pod setup available from Can Am? This one here.

I've got my Tavor set up right now for the "within 50 yards" kinda play, with the Sparc co-witnessing with the flip up irons and the new sling finally working nicely. But in the summer I'll want it back into gopher pinking mode. Last fall I was shooting "off-ruck" (see how mapgul teaches me?) but now I'm thinking it might be fun to try a forward flipped bipod.

How badly does it screw up your grip to have that thing on there?

And because any Tavor thread should have pretty pictures:

And the sling itself:

You want to use a bipod for shooting at 50 yards? I wouldn't even bother. You gain nothing and loose all of the forward grip. You have to hold the trigger guard.

Offset as in the height over bore? In theory I've got a ballistic calculator that will help me compensate for that, as long as I don't cant all over the place.

But I've never put it to the test.

I put one one mine...just the stud that screws through the mounting hole on the front grip...easy on ..easy off..... Im surprised nobody has jumped all over you for putting on a laser.... I guess they wore themselves out jumping on mine :) ... I dont care... I like it

Lol I was thinking about your adapter jjort! Seems like one of the smaller one's out there.

Mine's just a light, and its actually the smallest surefire weaponlight I could find. Trying to keep things light while I'm still carrying it.

I've looked at the Zahal site before! I keep wanting there to be more on there, but really the Tavor doesn't do a whole lot of customization. That rail is an interesting possibility though. I hadn't realized it was canted to make it level.

The sling is an Urban ERT sling. Cost me $55 and came with all kinds of different attachments. Probably took me 2 days to discover the setup you see there though.
