After doing a little reading and watching a few videos, Mr's Litz and Tubb have finally convinced me get an anticant device. The fellas at ATRS had one of the USO rail mounted bubbles in stock and I couldn't say no. So far I'm impressed. It's well made, small, light, folds and unfolds positively, doubles as a scope mounting aid, the fluid is bright and makes the bubble easy to discern, you can clearly see the level with your support side eye while the rifle is mounted, it doesn't protrude past the parallax knob when folded. Most importantly, it isn't ostentatious.

I have the same one. My only complaint is the screw that allows it to swivel. You need to make sure that it is tight when in use or it will give you a false indication of level.

Its habit for me now when I fold it out to give that screw a turn to ensure its tight.

Snipershide has an exhaustively tested review somewhere where they found the levels weren't level, just an fyi.
Not only that, but keep an eye on it, mine came off during a competition, never to be found again. Now I've got just the base that attaches to the rail.

I read the same discussion on Snipershide and decided to check it myself. I placed my rifle on my gun rest and secured into position. I then leveled the base with a precision level positioned on my pic rail. Once level I decided to check my scope for level and made the adjustments accordingly. I flipped the bubble out and saw the bubble to be between the lines. I then set my inclinometer against the precision level to match my line of sight. I'm not sure if the inclinometer needs to be inline with my barrel, flats on the scope, pic rail or line of sight?

Any thoughts?

Inclinometer needs to be inline with barrel, bubble to be between the lines when crosshairs level.

Thanks for your reply

The bubble is between the lines and level with the crosshairs.

Regarding the inclinometer being inline with the barrel I have read 2 different opinions that were common. The argument was to set the inclinometer horizontal zero with the line of sight when the scope adjustment was on your target zero of lets say 100 meters or with the action because of the deflection of the barrel between it being at rest or pressured up.

I don't know and asked the question. To me it's all the same. I did set my inclinometer based on the instructions provided form another forum.

Im going to check tomorrow against my barrel and post what I find.
