Usp expert

I really like them. Definitely my favorite polymer. Some find the grip a little blocky but the ergos work for me. They are notoriously reliable and capable of excellent accuracy in the right hands. I've only had/shoot it in 9mm, but I believe they were originally designed to handle 40. Note I'm not seeing new production guns in 40 recently, (only 9mm and yes in 45 -which is scaled differently btw), but used ones that turn up are often in 40. Down side is that the mags and accessories are pricy and can be difficult to source.

I want to love HK sooooo bad....I'm on my second...this is the USP.40..and as gdawg noted....the ergo's just don't fit me..I'm going to part with it...sadly..for me it's like holding a 2x4, and the grip feels too short, pinky finger is always slipping off the bottom..love the mag release..and the build quality..

I agree that the grip feels a little compressed to me as well, but the addition of the jet funnel makes quite a difference imo. I added one to my Elite. Sadly the jet funnel compatible mags are even more expensive.

I have a custom sport in 40, the USP was purpose built for the round. Being a big fan of 40, the USP is so smooth in 40. The expert would be unreal too. Buy with confidence.

I have a tactical USP in .40. It actually shoots like a 9mm in terms of felt recoil. Trigger is super predictable, way more accurate than me. Love the ergonomics.

I only found a few in Canada.

Best price i ve found so far is 1800 $ Can

IRG has them in USA. 1327 US + every other fees / conversion.

I dont mean to talk about everybody's firearm business in Canada but as we all know our passion COST A LOT of money and i would like to source my USP expert at the best price possible NIB.

Anybody know some good H&K sellers in Canada that could order the model i want?

Another question : So many USP models just want to make sure -> is there only "one" expert model for each caliber? 9x19, .40 and .45? v1-v9

Expecting all the best in one package. especially that match trigger.

Pretty sure you will only find new ones in 9mm and 45. Even IRGs only has the standard USP in 40, not the expert. Bullseye and Wanstalls have them in 9mm and 45 I think. 9mm and 40 use the same sized platform in the Expert. The 45 version is scaled up.

And just on the versions, some kits come with an aluminum case and a jet funnel. I think the current crop in Canada are packaged this way however the jet funnel/magwell is not mounted on the gun, nor does the package come with jet funnel compatible mags (I suspect because HK does not make/factory pin them to 10 rounds). If you add the funnel after, you would then need to source different mags.

IRGs has both versions. It is possible their jet funnel version comes with the proper mags and they will just pin them. The version without the funnel and Al case is about $120US cheaper.

Be careful ordering USPs from IRGs. The pictures and descriptions are often different and it is the product code that matters. Eg the gun on their sight for $1327 us has the picture of an Expert, but part of the description does not match so you need to verify. I lived this problem even after verifying multiple times....
