USP fixed vs adj rear sight - front post the same for both?

hey,

Is the front post the same height on both the fixed-sights USP and the adj sights CustomSport model?

(so if a replacement front fight is marketted for the fixed sights, will it also work with the adj ones)?

No, the adjustable or "tactical" front sight is taller than the regular fixed front sight set.
The Custom sport sights are the same as the sights on the USP tactical.
The normal fixed sights are low profile.

However, you can get fixed sights for the Tactical/ Custom sport, but I would not bother, as you can only adjust them for windage by tappy-tappy.

the only way it may work would be on a USP Expert, which has a recessed area where the rear sight sits lower in the slide.

these are excellent sights BTW, I had a fixed set on my older USP, and tactical front sight on my Custom sport.

Yeah the Tac sites are almost double the height..almost. Omen ive got regular profile ones on mine, you can check it out, ill be at Oxford tommorow if your there.

Ohh, no, the reason I was asking was a friend has a CustomSport, I wondered if a FO sight meant for the fixed sights would work. Clearly not... ok, thanks
