its the spring in the hammer itself.....its very small..

might be time for a new match trigger kit....? You get a new sear spring, new hammer, new hammer spring, new trigger return spring and new trigger, ....and it may need the new catch.

tell him what you need and what year your USP is,..new version don't need a new catch, older ones do as the hammer and catch is different.

Jesus!:eek: I just checked and you are right, the older generation of the USP had a spring in the hammer!!!:runaway:
The last two generations did not and that is what I am familiar with. Send me an email and I will send you the take down and instruction manual that i have.
 
You should contact HK Germany directly from the contacts on the website. Your hammer is probably not even in stock in Canada. You may be able to swap parts with the newer generation of USP.(?)
