USPSA Burlington Rifle Revolver Club

Why? Ipsc has deviated from the original sport, the US has stayed closer, IPSC would be better served returning the fold. At least the US has not only kept the IPSC target but the original principles which does usually mean better stage designs.

Remember, the US is where this sport started, and now we presume to tell them where it should be going and they have to fall in line?
Maybe we need an NAPSA, North American Practical Shooting Association

heh, your NAPSA suggestion is really just adding in Area 9, and maybe Area 10 since Ontario likes to think that they're a nation unto themselves. ;)

USPSA is the largest region, is home to the bulk of the talent and manufacturers in the sport, yet they're the black sheep. Personally I'd like to see our Standard/Production rules changed to resemble USPSA's Limited/Production rules.

Area 9 has been proposed unofficially, and the unofficial answer was "thats a can of worms we(USPSA) dont want to open"

Can I make a suggestion that someone start a new thread.

This was about the USPSA match held at Range Burlington (that's our name now) not about the merits of USPSA vrs IPSC.

For the record we shoot both at our club along with PPC, IDPA, Cowboy, Rifle and something called Bullseye

Everyone had a good time, we had some people who had never seen the Metric target or Single Stack Division. And for such large targets with no, no-shoots near them we has a large number of misses
