USPSA In Ontario

I don't get it. To me it just seems like another dilution of competition. No different than having 3 divisions for non-scoped, non-compensated pistols. So if I shoot USPSA I can shoot in limited instead. WOW, 165 PF for major, still can only use 10 round mags in Canada. Will USPSA BC or Ont be looking for World Shoot slots too?

World shoot in Canada? No, next one is in France.

I realize some Canadians like going to the US for matches. This is a way to shoot for "class" prizes. Sponsorship and prizes are impressive in the US, but instead of joining USPSA, why not help build IPSC Canada into something bigger and better. A little known fact, NB should have 3 level 3 matches this summer. Summer Slam has had guns on the prize table for quite a while now. It's not just a US thing.

We've had three level three matches a year since The SNB 250 started. We start with the Hampton SNB 250, then Summer Slam, then our Provincial. However, unless someone else takes over this may be the last Summer Slam for a while.

Like a relay race?
One guy shoots a few targets and then tags the next guy in?
You can even change it up where one guy shoots pistol, the next rifle, and then shotgun.... I'm in.

I MDed a 3-gun match where we had a stage like that. 1 guy rifle, 1 guy shotgun, 1 guy pistol. They had to grab items from the stage AFTER dumping their guns and run them in to tag the next guy in. It was fun.

Maybe someone should create a 3 gun style shooting club without all the High school nonsense and East German self policing. When FUN returns to dynamic shooting call me.

You like to repeat this "somebody do something for me" theme all over CGN.

Build it yourself. Let us know when it's ready.

I believe ALL holster disciplines in Canada should require a BB. Make that the gold standard in basic training.

Yes studying the IPSC rule book is so relevant to IDPA or US Steel Competitions. IPSC has their BB course and good on them. Leave it there. I am with Sean...my ignore list just grew by one.

Take Care

Dude you are repeating yourself. You posted the same thing 35 posts ago:

Someone needs to start a 3 gun style shooting group that has NOTHING to do with IPSC or high school politics...

My answer is the same, people HAVE started this and are having a heck of a lot of fun doing it. I know. I'm one of them. If there isn't someone doing that in your area, start it up! If you're not sure how or where to start, pm me and we can chat. But if you only have the energy to whine on the Internet that no one is working to put on the type of shooting that you like to do then by all means, keep repeating yourself...I'm sure eventually someone will create something that is fun for you.
