UTAS 15 Gen 4.....15 rounds, just in case you need them.

hey grumpy is this the perfect gun for bear defense ?

these would work great for bear defense. From having a lot of personal experience in bear territory, you need two things to make sure you're safe in bear country. A good firearm (shotgun is an excellent choice) and a casual acquaintance, who stumbles a lot and you know you can outrun. if you have both of these you'll be fine.

absolutely the funniest

Aw c'mon Grumpy, you know I'm a sucker for shotguns and have yet to pull the trigger on one of these...that price, that price is very nice...

There is very little information posted on the website so I've gotta ask, are the Gear Box Body and Gear Box Assembly Gen 4 as well?

How hard would you say it is to transfer the parts from my old assembly into the new gear box body?

And finally, free shipping on those as well? ;)

The gear box body is the stripped body for your parts. The Box assembly has all the parts installed already. It's not hard to transfer the parts over if you are not all thumbs.
No, there isn't free shipping if you are just buying the parts.

Interesting gun but everything I have read indicates that it is a Jam-o-matic. The fact that it is a Gen 4 indicates that we the public are the R&D for it (not impressive). I'll wait until they are done redesigning it & the conservatives win..... this might be a ways away at this point on both accounts.

The majority of the problems were exacerbated by user error. I honestly don't like the "gen" terms, as it really isn't an accurate reflection. There are tons of firearms who have had more changes over time and it doesn't mean that the public had to R&D them. All products are upgraded and enhanced as time goes on. If you hate public R&D then you must not use anything from Microsoft as they pioneered that technic.

Called in sick today, the flu is going around at work and it got me. So the bell just rang and guess who it is? Canada post. Guess what i got?? Will be doing a full review this friday with pics and video. My first impressions are. Open the box everything was there( should of ordered sights). Picked it up and it "feels right" points naturally and it cycles smooth. Fit and finish are nice( not a fan of the "c clip" type pin retainers ) but time will tell. Not sure how i would feel about the spring assist on the action but i thing i can grow to like it. The best part is that it is here 3 days early!!! Wolverine you rock. I know im not the easyist person to deal with, so thats again for every thing.
