Never mind answered my own question. Just placed an order for a black UTAS and the laser/light combo. Can't wait to get it!! Is the free shipping still on? It charged me $15 to my card. I inquired in the special comments section about it.

Up date on laser flashlight......sent an email to Anthony at Wolverine asking if the coiled wire on the light/laser would fit in the tiny bottom groove or relief cut under the new 4th gen spring assist mechanism , he said he researched it and no problem, laser ordered............it arrived and no how am I getting this installed with the spring assist mechanism, no room, especially with the hd coiled wire on the unit, so I took the spring assist out and of course it functions fine as a 3rd gen gun, which im happy about however, would like a laser/light combo that works with the spring assist, or its so much for the gen 4 unit!! All in all, happy with the quality of the light laser, not happy that its not intended for the 4th gen gun, this was an expensive upgrade that really doesn't work with the gun........any ideas grumpy?

UTAS says they will work, I'm out of the office for a couple of days, so I won't be much help. Call the office Friday and ask to speak to Dave he should be able to enlighten you. I know he's done a couple with the laser unit already.
 
I'll be able to help you out tomorrow buddy. My UTAS and laser are coming in the mail tomorrow if canadapost is accurAte and that'll be the first thing I do is install it.

I did...Leave enough coils in front of the spring assist bracket to pull the light far enough out of the tube to change the batteries. Pull a couple of coils straight and start the bracket with the front corner in first,that holds the cable...now pull the coiled cable straight and push the rear end of the spring assist down,hold in place and insert bolts.Squeeze the remaining coils behind the switch, they stay in place,even under recoil. I've about 120 rounds trough with no problem.

Another question to Grumpy: Asides from the two gen 4 I just bought...I have a gen 3 and would like to upgrade to a gen 4 gearbox housing. As seen earlier in this threat,I'ts possible.But I didn't find that thing on your website... Can you get me one and how much $$ ??
