UTAS UTS15 Gen 4: A Review.

I picked up an 870 police afew years ago for around the same price as this and have had no issues with it.

As much as concepts like this are interesting and have there place I do not see it replacing the 870 or the 500/590 in the hands of Police or Mil even if it was perfect. 870 is tried and trued reliable, and you will always find parts for it.

Just my 2 cents.

My two cents is the 500,590 & 870 were all new once too.

I have a tac 500 and love it!!! Just recieved my UTS-15 from Wolverine today out of the box it's great! Fit and finish are great i even like the pistol grip same as my m4. And the plastic parts are no more plastic then the plastic on my tac 500. Can't wait to shoot it!

my gen 4 works great. i had some issues with a box of really old cheap birdshot that didnt like to feed. i really like the pump assist after getting used to it. I dislike the stock pistol grip, after a dozen or so shells it makes my hand sore. Im going to wrap it with some hockey tape or grind off some of the plastic grip serrations. Its a bit of a handfull with stout loads or 3inch. going to try and grab a choketube with an integrated break and see if that knocks down the whack-factor on 3inch.

I put a Magpul MOE grip on mine. It needed to be dremelled a bit but I like the look and feel much better.
