Heathen! How could you NOT use a KAC RIS on a 10.5" LMT barrel?! It's just asking to become a Mk 18 Mod 0 clone! I could not justify spending +200 dollars on a fake Aimpoint and rail, add another $200 and you have the real thing.

I'm well under $200 for both, so the extra $200+ might get me the rail only. Nevermind getting a real Aimpoint or Eotech. I bought these well before I bought the LMT and they'll do me fine for now. I'll be upgrading the optic before I touch the rail.

i bought this from states. with UTG's TRI-RAIL SCOPE-LASER-LIGHT WEAVER RISER RIFLE MOUNT together cost 100 USD shipping included. chargeed
19 CAD by custom when arrived.

Ok, I lied. I now have a KAC RAS enroute and am actively looking for an Eotech 552.

BUT, the used KAC RAS was 4x the money of the UTG. I'll let you all know if it was worth it.

P & D has few of the UTG quad rails in stock. I fitted one to a for sale Bushmaster and I was quite impressed with it. Seemed rock solid to me and went on in a snap.

Apparently it's made in China, but not the PRL like I initially though, but the Republic Of China, also known as Taiwan. Will have to retract my previous statement, it's A-OK for the peace-loving democratic people of Taiwan.

I just got one from the TSE. It has gone beyond my expectations and I can’t imagine how they could have improved it.

The fit on my Stag is awesome; totally uniform and machined to perfection.

It’s really unbelievable for a Taiwanese product.

I wasn’t going to buy the forward grip until I was sure it was something “Stag worthy” – IT IS worthy, and I’m buying the grip today.

If anyone wants pictures I’ll post them. Also, you better move fast the TSE only had one more on the shelf and they are cheaper than anywhere else that I’ve seen them.

Cheers,

Jeff

Could you drop the Norinco hating, its getting old. Not everyone can afford over priced USA made stuff, so we do the best we can.

+1 on the Samson drop in rails. I ran them on my issue C8SFW with no problems at all. I abused that gun, it got beat around hard and my airsoft TD vert grip copy survived as well.
YMMV,
Hoddie.

I honestly don't see how the UTG could be improved upon.

Can anyone tell me what makes the other quad rails worth so much? - I'm not being sarcastic, or a smart butt, I'd really like to know (from some one who knows more than me) why someone should pay more for a “drop in” rail.

Also, being totally honest, I've bought the rail and the vertical fore grip because it looks Tacti-cool; what advantages does it serve?

Now I need to get a Sure-fire light and an Eotech and I think I'm done.

Jeff
