This is my rig For the price the Bushnell halo site kicks ass I really like the ability to change between reticals when hunting or on the range. Larger scopes just add weight and don't always mean smaller groups. The m1 is not a sniper rifle. But a vary capable intermediate range to short range buck blaster.
Just got back from the range. The mount worked flawless 0 movement and 200 rds down the pipe. Hungry was right there is no problem with neck sizing with the m305. With 150 grain Horndy SST and 46 grains of BLC2 my best group at 100yards was 1” off the bench. I plan to use to round to hunt this year. The Bushnell scope worked well stayed on target. I just found the retical hard to see in extreme high sunlight. To be honest the targets were orange
