UTG Rail - How They Holding Up?

Mines good but had to put it on my mostly usgi m1a, it wouldnt fit on my national match because the barrel is thicker for longer at the bore.

Close to 300 rounds and no problem, I used blue loctite. Sorry to high Jack but is anyone running a sling mounted to either rails on the side? I was thinking of doing this but didn't know if it would hold up.

I would use loctite on it, other than that, you are good to go. I have used mine for over a year. You can find one in the CGN Equipment Exchange right now with a simple search for the words UTG rail.

Yep Mr.4x4!
Got 2 and they are the QD model's. 1 is the side mount & the other is a knight's armerment 1.

What kind of optics are you guys using with those rails? Would offset rings get you back far enough to use something like a Bushnell 10x, or would a rail extension be required?

I would defenatly use the FabSports one for a short red dot but there are also others to consider. Say if you were still plaing on using your stripper clip guide but did want to suddenly switch to an optic because the irons are giving you a hard time.
You could go the route I did and get the SPR-E model;

Even the N.E.A. Cantilever Scope Mount would work too;

Now for figure out between the Bushnell TRS-25 and the Vortex SPARC........might go with the TRS-25 due to price
