Uts 15

Hey if you don't like it don't buy it! It's that simple. Look at the ksg! You ask anyone kel tec is notorious for producing junk and people still buy them, people are paying close to 3000 dollars for a ksg that is known to have issues, and none of those videos state weather they came from UTAS Turkey or UTAS USA and I'm sure wolverine wouldn't back these 100% knowing thy are junk

The magazine selector broke on the FPS video. Issue has already been addressed and the Wolverine ones will be coming with metal selectors. Maybe I missed it, but what was the issue with the second shotgun? I still love his video's, great entertainment value.
Regards
Guy

Importer says they are bringing in special Canadian versions without QA issues and you guys eat it up.
Have they acknowledged the current issue is fubar? How did they rectify it?

You have obviously done zero reading of the CGN threads on the subject, before posting something nonsensical.

First, they are not Canadian editions, they are UTS-15 versions manufactured at the UTAS production facility in TURKEY, not the UTAS U.S. assembly facility in Des Plaines, IL.

Secondly, that "Importer" is known as Wolverine Supplies - a site sponser that has a very good reputation for their customer service, and no nonsense product guarantees. There are many on this site who's gun vaults are full of reliable, high quality firearms because of the efforts of John and his crew.

If they do turn-out to have the issues resolved, then I'll have an awesome shotgun......and you won't. :p

If they don't work well, I'll have something else from Wolverine, and you still won't. :D

First thing I do when I get this shotgun is load it with 15 rounds of mixed shells and blast them all off super fast, super tactical-ish with combat rolls and high kicks... Then post a vid of it to make you all jealous of my laser powered mall ninja shotgun. ;):p

WE be Jammin.... Surely to god some one here has got one of these by now but the silence is defining. Are they all going directly into the safe? No CGN reviews?

Just save your money and buy a KSG....I'm so glad I bailed on that per-order. Looking at it compaired to my ksg's it's so bulky and fugly

Hmmm.

Well, there's the conundrum, isn't it......
They're rarely available - and when they are, they sell for much more money than they are worth, (IMO).
So are you really saving money by going with a KSG now, or losing money?

They are artificially over-inflated in price now; Assuming of course, they start to become more readily available for their list price in a few years........if you overpaid now, your investment is in the loss column, regardless. I can't see them appreciating in value to the extent of what people are asking.
But if you have money to burn on 'em...then have it.

Besides, if you'd stop buying them all up there'd be some left for the rest of us!! ;)

I've been talking to kel tec and it sucks for anyone that doesn't have one that's all I can say cause it's not good for Canadians for kel tec ksg's. so I can see the price going up even more. I'm just glad I have so many haha and I'm not stopping anytime soon lol

All these keltecs will be falling apart in a few years and then when people can't get them fixed prices will plummet as the reputation starts to match what the product actually is.....

they should be selling for 500 new. Doubt I'd even consider one at that price with keltecs track record

So I got my UTS the other day, and tested it the first did I had some issues with cheap ammo and the lip on the round being ripped off. After taking apart and cleaning it again it ran smooth. This was all the same ammo that I had issues with on my KSG, and failed every shot.
There are a couple things I do not like about the gun. For loading in between shots it is a bit of a pain you have to push the round that is going next into the tube and then insert your ammo, as compared with any other shot gun, you just push the next round in.
The barrel extension threaded choke tube is not the same as on the barrel, so you cannot use the tactical muzzle break on it, you need to buy another one.
The selector switch will not stay on a tube while firing it, you have to select the tube each time. I might be doing something wrong; I haven’t had much time to play with it.
The second time I cleaned the pin on the barrel nut fell out, but I talked to wolverine and they have one in the mail for me. I wasn’t really concerned about the gun still functions without and the 75 round I put threw it with it off, the nut did not move.
Things I like about it are the easy of loading and clearing jams fast. And if it’s a major jam you can lift the back panel up with out taking the thing apart.
I have owed a KSG and I got rid of it a couple months ago because I was having feeding issue and it jammed a lot. They both have their pro’s and cons. I don’t think I would have got rid of the KSG if it had no problems, but my luck with kel-tec is zero for 2! I like the ksg compact design, and majority of it is metal. But the loading and it, plus if you have a stoppage is a huge problem to me, and I have cut my self a couple time on the gun.
If I had a to chose between the KSG or the UTS-15 I would take the UTS-15. Even though it’s a little bulkier and lots of plastic. I like the auto tube selector, and the easy of loading and clearing jams faster.
