UTS- yes or no?

The Gen 4's are great... however after planing to use this for all sorts of events and other purposes it got sold as I just didn't use it and the CAD gun laws of traveling or storing loaded firearms makes loading and unloading a chore.

If your set on one there are deals to be had.

I paid $659 for mine last Jan. It's a Gen 4. I've only had one issue and it was fixed NO questions asked from Wolverine. I have around 400rds or better down the barrel. It's cycled FLAWLESS as long as you PUMP it. I let a couple friends shoot it and yes it jammed up as they short stroked it. I've purchased a full choke for it as well. I've shot skeet with it, slugs, buckshot, you name it. Its a very accurate and reliable shotgun in the right hands. I obviously am bias, but in my opinion I give it a 9/10! It only looses 1 point because it sucks if you load it up & want to unload it. You basically have to pump 15rds out. It's a go to gun for sure!!!!

Gen4 is around $500 and you may need some repair here and there to make it work I shot it once, not impressed by the quality.

The UTS15 just about outclasses every other pump shotgun on the market. It's a fast pump & the forward assist helps a lot. 15 rounds of 12 gauge makes it unbeatable for capacity. The whole top is a picatinny rail.

Better than the KSG since you can choose to fire the left barrel or right barrel exclusively, but you can also choose to automatically select & fire one from each magazine. Even though it's technically a bull pup, it still has a long barrel and you can buy a 7" extension. Plus since the factory grip is an AR type setup, you can change it to any great grip like an Ergo grip.

The only thing that beats it is an auto, but the UTS15 has 10 more rounds to fire while autos have to reload. It's a great package!

I vote yes. I enjoy shooting mine more than I thought I would, and now that they're way less than they originally went for I say go for it. I posted my thoughts when I first got mine here.

Pass on it.

If they were 1/2 as reliable as the fanboys claim, they'd be owning the 3-gun circuit - all that extra capacity before your first reload is a BIG advantage.

Except they're junk. They jam. They fail. So you almost never see them at a match (and lots of guys have taken the plunge and tried to make them work).

Oddly enough, they're MUCH cheaper in Canada than in the US - higher sucker ratio south of the border. But their reputation is so toxic up here, and the community more tight-knit, that they have to keep the price way down to move any of them at all.

I full understand everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but find it hard to believe some people hate on this shotgun so bad. Few of u claim they jam, have issues ect... but have u actually owned a gen4 had issues then sold it?? Like I said, my Gen 4 cycles flawless, chews up & spits out anything I feed it... high brass, low brass, slugs, buck, cheap bird.... & it's accurate to boot! I'm not saying they had issues in the past, as we all k ow they did. However if anyone ever is around Edmonton & wants to try mine out before they make a decision to buy one or not, you are more than welcome. It's fun as hell to shoot!

Cheers!

I've heard equal good and bad about these, I almost bought one in the spring but decided to get a 1919 instead. They sure look cool though!
