Called into Williams Arms today and Tom asked me if i wanted to see a nice Lee Medford 303.He asked me what UVF ment as he handed me the rifle. There on the stock was the Red Hand of Ulster with for God and Ulster and UVF.I told him it was Ulster Volunteer Force. I have not seen any of them since i left Belfast.Back there in 1960.s you could get them for $10 also new in the grease German 1988 model,s.I think the day,s of $10 rifle.s are gone. I think he is looking $850 for it. I think i will save my monet for his 1949 k31.
 
Ah the red hand of Ulster! I had a couple long lees with that marking at one time. Interesting rifles with a much clearer "Irish connection" than the supposed "Irish Contrct" No.4 rifles.
