I should say, it seemed heavy, dry firing out of the box. It may be a little better now that it’s had some use, but my frozen fingers weren’t up for defining any improvement. I’ll put a scale on it and let you know.
 
Had a chance to check things out.

The trigger pull does seem heavy.

No issues with the magazines etc perhaps they break in as this was a used model. Saw that there is an interlock of the rim top to the bottom shells when they stack up but it did not
cause any problems. Fiddling around it is not something that looks easy to avoid when loading so hopefully that does not become an issue but it was fine
for the 2 boxes slug/buck w/o problems.

Loading the magazine was awkward at first. Got the hang of it by the second one.

Best and fastest way to do it was push down with the left thumb then slide the first shell in right to the back, then push
that down with the left thumb and slide in the next one.

Fun time, nice toy. We had a blast with it! :)
 
Thanks for the review KJ! I found this thread while pursuing the forums "new posts" page. Otherwise I would have not voluntarily entered this particular forum as I find it's frequenters and content to be pedantic and monochromatic.
This would be more appreciated in the B&G shotgun forum, so I recommend just copying and pasting your original post in a new thread over there. Let this one sit and fester like a boil until it's deemed so disgraceful that it must be dealt with. Lol!

I was curious with your Uzkon Kodiakjack..... U say you didn't clean it, took it out and let er buck. (I did the same with my Axor MF-2) Once you cleaned it, did you lightly oil it, or run er dry??

First time cleaning mine, I did a "light" oil. Second cleaning I went dry... Just curious what you have done.... Thanks.
 
I went with just light oil.

As it gets colder, I’ll probably switch to Teflon dry lube. I think light oil is best, but I had a pump gun years ago that got pretty stiff when hunting below -10. I tried the drylube and it ran smooth as glass at the cold temps. Ever since then, I superstitiously drylube my hunting guns over the winter.
